New! eCommerce Templates / XML Design Packages

We’ve added new templates and some new XML Package Design extensions to the ecommerce module to bring a new level of design flexibility and product presentation to your website. First, we’ve changed our ecommerce installer to include only our default template and moved all of our freely included ecommerce templates to the My Downloads section of our community. This saves valuable hard drive space as web shop owners no longer need to install templates they do not intend on using.
We have also redesigned our featured products XML Design Package to make it more visually appealing and easier to customize. The new XML Design Package allow you to display your featured products in a columnar view with a thumbnail of the product and its price. This will make it easier for web shop owners to display their best selling products on the homepage to drive new sales.
